Quality Beef Starts at the Source

The quality of the beef you buy isn't determined solely by how it's handled, cut, and packaged. To determine that, we'll have to go all the way back to the pasture. How a cow is raised affects not only the flavor and your peace of mind, but also how nutritious the meat is.

Where It All Starts

Good beef starts with a healthy cow, nutrition-rich feed, a green pasture, and a rancher who cares about their cattle.

 

After being weaned, calves are moved to pastures, where they'll remain until they reach market weight. During this, they're also given supplemental feed along with essential vitamins and minerals they need to help them grow. No feed lots. No shortcuts. Just the good old-fashioned ranching that produces beef with real flavor and the nutrition your family deserves.

At Texas Pride Meats, we believe the meat production process should preserve the welfare and health of the animals we process. Which is why when we source our beef, we seek out local ranchers who share the same values and high standards we do while supporting our own community.

Our beef comes from independent ranchers who truly believe in their mission to provide their community with healthy and flavorful meat that comes from animals that are treated right. Unlike industrial meat producers, who sacrifice welfare and overall meat quality to increase profit margins.

Every Cut Matters To Us

Every cut of beef that makes it into our shop is inspected by our expert meat processors. Whether it's a steak, ribs, roast, or even ground beef,  we make sure to hand-pick cuts that meet USDA Select grade or higher to ensure that you'll receive a rich and flavorful product from us each and every time. No more worrying if the ribeye you're buying is going to be as good as it was last time.

After the cuts are inspected and graded, we age the meat for at least 14 days. A process that turns good beef into great beef by breaking down the tough stuff and building up that rich flavor that makes your mouth water.

On Texas pastures with a balanced and nutritional diet, while being handled and treated with care and respect. No factory farming, no industrial feedlots, no confusion about where it was born, raised, or processed.
